As many people know, there was a fatal car crash on US 30. 5 high school seniors were in the car and another car in front of them held 4 more high school seniors. There is no need to go into detail since the press isn't giving complete details. I am a friend of one of the family's and I know a lot more details than what the press are being given.

Aja Gerrity, Amanda Williams, Jason Carter, Richard Araiza, and Dustin Leitzell are the names of the students. All 5 students graduated from Ridgefield High School this year and were planning on going to collage or the air force.

Dustin Leitzell was the only survivor of the crash. He was airlifted to a hospital where he went under surgery. Later that day I learned that he made it through surgery and gave the doctors a thumbs up before going under. He is going to pull through and be able to live longer life.

AJA GERRITY:

Aja will be missed and loved! Her spirit and heart won everyone and cheer us on.

What is your Favorite school activity?: "Cheerleading, so I can wear short skirts and get everybody pumped."

Aja played Snoopy in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown". Her amazing acting skills and voice won people. "Getting into the role character was hard, and Snoopy is a male role. I had to change my voice in the music."

Aja was head cheerleader for our team. Her pumped up spirit got everyone on their feet during the games. Our pep rallies were great having her lead the cheers.

Aja was also in choir. Her voice was amazing and swayed our hearts. Her courage to do solos blew everyone away. She could have gone to Broadway and gone far.

What was your Most Memorable Event? : "I will remember never seeing any of the assemblies on Fridays because I was always gone at Speech and Debate."

Aja was accepted into a major collage in New York and had a bright future ahead of her. Her life was cut short, however her time on this earth will not be forgotten any time soon. Her love and smile will always be in our hearts.

AMANDA WILLIAMS:

Amanda was a cheerleader who put her heart out in the sport. "All of my best friends are cheerleaders. We spent so much time together and all have the buddy personality."

Amanda took our school spirit to the max. On Battle of the Sexes, she was decked out in pink. Her bright pink shorts and pink slippers drove the guys crazy. The Battle of the Sexes shirt she wore, showed off her spirit. She wore pink paint under her eyes and had pink sunglasses, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets. Her school spirit always shined at school.

Her shining smile and cheerful face always brighten your day. Her beauty shined all the time but she never bragged about it. Her love for people was shown when she helped everyone would wanted help.

RICHARD ARAIZA:

Richard always liked Ritchie over his name. I feel bad that I didnt get to know him as much as I would have liked to. I knew Ritchie from passing but thats all.

From what everyone says about Ritchie is positive though. He doesnt have a negative bone in his body and always looked on the positive side. He was blunt, honest, and determind.

JASON CARTER:

Jason was the senior class president. He made heart wrenching speeches that made people stand with awe.

Jason played the title character in the musical "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown". His voice was amazing along with his acting. "It's basically a look into the everyday life of Charlie Brown. I believe we are gong to put on a strong performance." The musical was a strong performance and a one that we will remember.

Jason was in our leadership class. He helped plan all of our dances, pep rallies, tailgates, and spirit weeks. He was a great help on all of the projects and put 110% into everything he did.

Jason was also in choir. His voice was amazing and awed people. When Jason and Aja sang together, they got heads to turn and people to pay attention.

What Was Your Most Memorable Event?: "My most memorable event of the school year was when RidgeMac Productions released their new hit singles "Nightmare" and "Get Hyphy." They redefined the hip-hop scene as we know it."

Jason was a very smart man who knew what he wanted to do with his life.

DUSTIN LEITZELL:

Dustin is a fighter and is not ready to leave this world!

Dustin was our only male cheerleader and was a riot to be with. "Cheerleading takes heart and is actually really difficult." However he never gave up and pump up the crowd.

Dustin also did Mock Trial and played the role as the gym teacher, Jamie Spartan. He did an amazing job as coming off as a jerk and prick. He made everyone laugh and giggle when he was on the stand. Dustin even made the judge crack a giggle and smiles with one of his comments.

Hey guys,

Sorry I haven’t updated in a while, I just got back from a soccer trip to Germany. I had internet access there, but I was never around a computer at all. Tons of people have been asking about my trip and I thought I would fill everyone in at the same time. But to warn people, I am not sure about the flight times because no one (expect the coach) paid attention to the time.

Our team left PDX (Portland, OR) around 6:30am on Thursday (10/9) and stopped in New York Kennedy around 2ish. We had a 4 hour and 18 minute layover time (meaning a plane for Germany wouldn’t come until 4 hours and 18 minutes later). We went to an Italian restaurant and had lunch. Next we went to a local park where we could talk about the tournament. Around 5ish we went to a Mexican place and had dinner. No one on the team likes to eat on the plane. We boarded the plane and arrived in Berlin, Germany around 9:40am (10/10).

We drove to the Marriott in Berlin and checked into our rooms. After we got breakfast in us, we crashed. Most of us crashed right away because we didn’t get any sleep on the plane. We got up around noon and headed out to “site see”. If you call drooling over girls’ site seeing; for people who don’t know, I play on a guy’s team. We grabbed some lunch and headed to the stadium to practice. After practice we got dinner and went to bed around 10ish.

The next morning (10/11) we woke up at 4:00am and got dressed down. The ride to the stadium was about 2 hours and we got their about 6:45ish. We warmed up for our first game which started at 8am. We kicked butt on that game, 15-6. The games usually lasted about an hour, hour and a half. The second game started at 10am and we kick butt again, 18-5. After the second game, we had lunch and went over plays for the next game.

The third game we played was at 1pm and we beat them 20-6. The fourth game we played was at 3pm and this was the worst game we played the entire time there. I don’t know what happen during that game but we were off. We beat them only by 2, 12-10. Our coach was pissed at us. In my opinion, I think we were madder at ourselves. However the fifth game we played, we dominated 15-3. That was the last game for us and we went back to the hotel.

The ride back was another story. The guys were chucking paper balls at our driver. It was so funny because they all had terrible aim. We got back to the hotel around 7ish and had dinner in the “dinning hall”. Other teams could eat there and we were too tired to fight with our coach, so we ate with everyone else. Don’t get me wrong we enjoy being around other teams, but the night we weren’t in the mood. After dinner, we went over what we did wrong and went to bed.

I had to bunk with 6 other guys and it wasn’t that fun. There were 2 queen size beds and a couch. One slept on the couch, two slept on one bed, and three slept on the other bed. I was of course with the three because I am a girl and was smaller than them. We could fit three more easily than with three guys (AND NO Jill, we did slept with each other). All of us are tight friends and we didn’t mind.

The next morning (10/12) we woke up and had breakfast. We left the hotel around 8am and got to the fields around 10ish. Our first game was at 11am and we beat them 15-2. Our last game was at 1pm and we beat them 19-2. We only had to play two games that day due to our rank from yesterday. We went back to the hotel and changed. That night we went out and partied. We didn’t get back to the hotel until 2am and everyone crashed when we got back.

All the teams the next morning (10/13) had breakfast in the conference room of the Marriott. This is when they announced the places of all the teams. Our team was really calm compared to the other teams because we have done a ton of tournaments before. There two top teams would play each other for the championship that day at noon. Our team and a team from Italy (I think, I can’t remember) were the top teams.

The championship game was at noon and the stadium was packed. The other teams stayed to watch, which is what we would have done if we didn’t come in the top two teams. Their team fouled a lot on us and we pushed right back. Of course a player from their team and a player from our team got red carded (kicked off the field) for fighting and punching each other. Besides that, the game was clean and great. We were tied for the longest time until we pulled ahead. The final score was 5-3….WE WON!!!

After the game we went back to the hotel and grabbed some lunch. We packed our stuff and left for the airport, our plane left around 4pm. We had to stop in Paris De Gaulle, France for a 14 hour and 45 minute layover time. We checked in at a hotel and crashed. Most of the time we slept, which when you stuff 16 guys and 1 girl into a room with 2 king size beds, a couch, and a hideaway; it’s pretty amazing that we actually slept.

When everyone got up the next day (10/14), we went out and got some food. We were at this little café for about 3 hours, eating food and talking. After we were done, we wonder the streets for a bit and went back to the airport. We got on a plane (I don’t know what time) and headed home.

However, we had to stop in New York Kennedy again with a layover time of 9 hours and 5 minutes. We ate at a local Mexican restraint and wonder the streets. We ran into some people we knew and went back to their place for a bit. The guys played video games the entire time; I kicked their butts though on some of the games. Our coach was going over the tapes of the tournament on his lap top. We left their place and went back to the airport around 3ish (I don’t know for sure about the time). We got back to Portland around 11:30pm and went headed towards my new place.

Yes, I have my own place now. However, I still live with my grandparents most of the time. My uncle brought me a town house (5 bedrooms, 3 baths, a living room, a den, a kitchen) and I go there when I need to think or when I have company. When we get back from traveling whether it is soccer or motocross, my house is where everyone crashes for a bit. The time difference is hard on everyone, but we are used to it by now.

Update on Forbidden Love:

I am working on a new chapter and am about three-fourths of the way done. I was able to write most of it out on the plane rides, but now I have to type it and give it an ending.

Update on Fighter:

To be honest with everyone right now, I haven’t begun working a new chapter for Fighter. I had one, but I didn’t like it at all. I wrote most of that chapter when my older brother was in the hospital. My mood was depressed and angry at the time. After rereading the chapter, I realize that it was way too dark to fit in with the story. Once I finish with a chapter for Forbidden Love, I will start a new chapter for Fighter.

#5: What is up with Zuko hitting Katara in the first chapter? Guys don't hit girls in real life, what school do you go to?
ANSWER: This is my story so I can do anything I want. If you are going to be rude when you ask me a question, don't except a nice answer back.

#6: Why did you do the files, it was so boring?
ANSWER: Because I felt like it. Most people tell me that they skipped through the files, and I am completely fine by it. However, later in the story you might need to reread some people's files. For example, I laid out Zuko's past.

#7: Is Zuko going to show up at the Under Ground fighting and Katara is going to train him?
ANSWER: At first I didn't think about having Zuko fighting, I was thinking Toph or Azula. However since a ton of people keep bugging me about it, I will have to think about it.

#8: What is up with Azula's character?
ANSWER: In every story I read, Azula is made out to be the bad guy. What if she turned good and wanted someone to talk to? To be honest, I was going to have Azula be 'good', but since a lot of people are against it, I will have to think about it.

#9: When are Zuko & Katara going to notice their feelings for each other?
ANSWER: I have no idea. You will just have to wait and find out. And yes, this is a Zutara story.
